What is Fade The Book?

Fade The Book is an online investment management firm. We help you manage your investment portfolio and recommend smart investment choices, so that you save time and gain peace of mind, knowing that your money is working for you. We’re a fiduciary, which means we put your interests first.

All of our portfolio strategies are globally diversified and built using the most liquid currencies available. We pick investments for you, making recommendations that prioritise your best interests. We also automatically take care of things like portfolio rebalancing, reinvesting dividends, and tax loss harvesting.

When you make a deposit, we invest all of your money automatically. That means there’s no extra step to turn your cash into investments, and your returns aren’t dragged down by holding extra cash.

What are Fade The Book’s fees?

We charge a 15% performance fee. This means that we only charge you if you make money on your portfolio.

We calculate your fee monthly so we can accurately account for deposits, withdrawals and market fluctuations that occur. We then total the fees from those monthly calculations each month, billing you the total performance fee on the monthly returns your portfolio produces. This means that if you withdraw your balance before the end of the month, you’re only charged the fee for the days your money was managed by Fade The Book.

What does the fee get you? It covers the advice you receive, the transactions, trades, transfers, and rebalancing we manage for you, and all other required account administration tasks.

How does Fade The Book compare to other investment management firms?

Like Fade The Book, most investment management firms use technology to recommend a portfolio and automate the investment process. We do not stop there. When you have questions, licensed experts from our Support and Advice teams are ready over the phone, or to refer you to a one-on-one with a financial advisor.

In other words, Fade The Book aims to help you answer, “How can I be a smarter, better investor across my finances?” while other investment management firms only answer “What should my portfolio look like?”

How is Fade The Book regulated to keep investors’ money safe?

Fade The Book is not a custodian of client funds. Therefore, WE WILL NEVER REQUEST FOR YOU TO DEPOSIT YOUR FUNDS DIRECTLY TO US.

Fade The Book works closely with fully regulated Brokerage firms and Exchanges. Your funds will be kept directly with the broker or crypto exchange that you choose.

What investments does Fade The Book offer?

For each of your financial goals, we recommend a specific risk allocation strategy. This approach helps to maximize expected returns while minimizing risk.

In order to deliver superior returns, we apply a systematic quantitative approach to a diversified portfolio of currencies and cryptos.

All investment decisions are made using short term volatility analysis, order flow analysis and statistical analysis.

Portfolio exposure is constantly monitored in order to deliver positive risk-adjusted returns.

How to connect to an FX Strategy?

- Open a Forex trading account with one of our selected brokers

- Tradeview.- Here for opening an account with Tradeview.

- Once your account is opened please reach out to us via our Discord community or via email at support@fadethebook.com. We will then send you a Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) document for you to review and sign.

- After signing the LPOA your account will be added to the software (Multi Account Management Software - MAM) corresponding to the strategy that you have selected.

- Trading will start immediately after your account is added to the MAM.

- You can follow the results directly in your broker's client portal or by downloading Metatrader 4 on your desktop or mobile.

How to connect to a Crypto Strategy?

- Sign in to your exchange account.

- Transfer the funds meant for trading to your exchange account.

- Generate a pair of API key and Secret key.

- Sign in to your Fade The Book account, choose a strategy of your preference.

- Enter the API key and Secret Key.

-For additional support you can always contact our costumer support and we can walk you through the process.

Can I connect to more than one strategy?

Yes. You can connect to as many strategies as you would like. Our customer support is available to assist you with adding different strategies to your portfolio.

Can I perform any manual trading on the account connected to my strategy?

No. We strongly recommend you not to trade manually on the account connected to one of our strategies. It may have a negative impact on our strategy’s performance.

When will my strategy start trading?

Once your strategy is activated and your account connected it will start trading with the next signal to enter a position.

If the strategy is not connected by the 1st of the month can I still join?

Yes. The usual start of the strategies is on the first day of each month.

Fo crypto strateies, if you manage to connect your strategy within the first 10 days of the month, the strategy will be activated immediately. If you connect a strategy after the 10th of the month, it will be automatically activated with the next pool start. In case you connect a strategy after the 10th and you want to activate your strategy immediately please contact our Support Team.

For FX strategies trading will start immediately regardless of the day you connect.

How do I know that my strategy is working?

Once your strategy connection is active you will be notified of strategy trades or changes via email notifications and directly in your trading account terminal.

You also will be able to see the live physical performance within your crypto exchange account and FX trading account.

My strategy has been activated, why is it not trading?

Please keep in mind that after being activated your strategy will not start trading immediately. It will stay FLAT waiting for the signal from the trading algorithm to enter a position. When the algorithm sees the best opportunity for trading, it will send the signal to enter a position.

Can I withdraw funds from my account connected to the strategy?

Your funds are always under your full control. You can withdraw funds from your account whenever you want. Please note, in case there is a due profit share to be paid, we will request you to pay a withdrawal fee.

What kind of fees are to be paid to Fade The Book?

- Entry fee: If applicable. this fee should be paid to start a new strategy.

- Profit share: The Profit share is the payment based on your profit. This type of payment is requested monthly (depending on the type of strategy). It is mandatory for each Fade The Book customer and it is based on the profit of each strategy.

For FX accounts, this profit fee is processed automatically eery month. For crypto accounts, the profit fee must be manually each month.

Where should I send the fee payments? What are your wallets?

For USDT, USDC and ETH transactions (ERC20):

How to confirm my payment to Fade The Book?

To verify your transaction you should contact our Support Team and send us the following information (IMPORTANT: please send us the text to avoid typing mistakes):

The purpose of the payment (Entry Fee, Profit Share)
Transaction ID of your fee payment (also known as Internal Transfer ID or Transaction Hash or TxID)
Date of Transaction, Amount, and Coin
The screenshot of your Transaction (for verification)
Name and strategy ID
Email of your investment account (if you contact us from another address).
Usually, it takes our team about 24 hours to verify your transaction. Once the transaction is verified, you will get an email with the verification result.

What if I want to add funds to my account?

You can add funds to your investment account at anytime. The algorithm will adjust automatically to the new balance in your account.

How can I change to a different strategy?

Contact our customer support at support@fadethebook.com and we will assist you with changing to a different investment strategy.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your investment subscription at any time. Contact our customer support at support@fadethebook.com and we will assist you with cancelling your investment subscription. Please note that if there are any pending profit fees then a cancellation fee may be applied.

Sign in to your exchange account.

Step 2

Transfer the funds meant for trading to your exchange account.

Step 3

Generate a pair of API key and Secret key.

Step 4

Sign in to your Fade The Book account, choose a strategy of your preference.

Step 5

Enter the API key and Secret Key. You will see the amount deposited in your exchange account, choose the correct currency for payment, verify the amount of the entry fee to be paid and our wallet for payment.

Step 6

Pay the entry fee from your exchange account to the wallet.

Step 7

Copy the Transaction ID of the payment. Put the transaction ID in the corresponding box on your Fade The Book page.

Step 8

Your strategy will change the status to PAID.

Step 9

Click the REFRESH button for the connectivity test.

Step 10

If the connectivity test is successful, you will see the status of your strategy as Paid and VERIFIED.

Step 11

If something is wrong with the settings of your exchange account, you will see that the status of your strategy is PENDING and error notification.
