Senior Python Developer - Finance and Algorithmic Trading

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with experience in finance and algorithmic trading to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, financial modeling, and experience building and implementing trading algorithms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and systems
• Work closely with traders and quants to understand and implement their trading strategies
• Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with other developers to design and implement new features
• Stay current on industry developments and new technologies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on finance and algorithmic trading
• Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (NumPy, Pandas, etc.)
• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, R, Python)
• Knowledge of distributed systems, databases, and cloud computing
• Experience with Git, Linux and other development tools
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading concepts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
